Privacy
Venara processes sensitive personal data — your date, time and place of birth, plus whatever you write to Celest. This page says exactly what we keep, where it goes, and how to take it back or delete it.
What we keep
Only what the app needs to work:
- Account: name, email address and profile picture, through our authentication provider.
- Birth data: date, time, place and coordinates — yours and those of anyone you generate a chart for.
- The computed chart: planets, houses, aspects.
- Your journal and your conversations with Celest.
- Social connections: friends, follows, messages sent to other users.
- Subscription status and identifiers from the payment processor. We never see or store card details.
- Optionally your Telegram chat id, if you choose to connect it.
Where your data goes
To function, the app sends certain data to external providers. The most important to know: your birth data goes to the ephemeris service that computes the chart, and your chart and messages go to the AI provider that writes the interpretations.
The full list of providers is below, with what each one receives.
Who can see what
Your journal is private. It is not visible to anyone else and cannot be shared through the app.
Close friends can see your birth chart and signs. Your public profile can be made private in settings.
Your rights
You can download all of your data as a file, from inside the app, and delete your account with everything in it. Deletion is permanent.
You may request correction, restriction of processing, or object to processing by writing to our contact address.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete it, we delete your chart, journal, conversations and connections.
